The Big Acorn was originally set up by Zue Newton and Jenny Bailey. They have seen the profound impact that good coaching can have in supporting the core need of each individual to feel valued and to make a contribution. Both Jenny and Zue have a love of working with people to make a difference to their lives and as a result to their businesses. They work to their unique model of Transformational Coaching.©

The business model: to create a coaching and mentoring practice where the coaches and mentors working with The BIG Acorn have first run businesses or worked at a senior level within the corporate world. Consequently our executive coaches have sat in boardrooms, managed teams, tackled many challenges and have the battle scars to prove it. They understand team dynamics and the stresses that individuals are exposed to in the tough world of business.

They have learnt to have a positive approach to their lives, whatever the circumstances. They also have an abiding belief that each individual must take responsibility for their situation, because it is only then that change can happen.

Their senior-level business experience includes a variety of sectors including: Financial Services; Professional Services; Marketing/PR; IT Services; Telecoms; Construction and Associated Services; Hotels and Leisure; High end Fashion and Home; Education and Local Government; Charity.

All our executive coaches, life coaches and therapists are accredited; have supervision and they also participate in continuous professional development.

What else? We also believe it is important for us to contribute to our community; we are happy to provide some complimentary or low-cost coaching for charities and those who are in need.
